Consultations

Consultations may be provided:

• By telephone
• In person by appointment

Consultation fees must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed.

The consultation fee covers only the consultation booked by the client.

Any additional work requested following a consultation will be subject to a separate quotation and agreement.

Consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has taken place.

Payments

Payments may be made by:

• Stripe
• Bank Transfer
• Cash (where agreed in advance)

All fees are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£).

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, fees must be paid before work commences.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information.
• Providing all requested documents within the required timeframe.
• Following advice and instructions relevant to their matter.
• Informing us promptly of any change in circumstances.
• Attending appointments at the agreed time.

Failure to do so may result in delays, suspension or closure of the matter.

Client Information, Documents and Third-Party Information

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all information, documents and evidence provided to Robert Legal Services Ltd are true, accurate, complete and genuine.

Robert Legal Services Ltd accepts no responsibility for any loss, delay, refusal, rejection, investigation, penalty or adverse outcome arising from false, misleading, inaccurate, incomplete, forged or fraudulent information or documents supplied by a client or any third party acting on the client's behalf.

Clients remain solely responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of all information and documents submitted in support of their matter, application or case.

Robert Legal Services Ltd reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate services where there are reasonable grounds to believe that any information or supporting documentation is false, misleading, inaccurate or fraudulent.

No refund shall be payable for work already undertaken where services are suspended or terminated as a result of false, misleading or fraudulent information or documentation.

Client Delays, Change of Instructions and Non-Refundable Fees

Clients are responsible for providing all information, documents and instructions requested within the timeframes advised.

Where a client fails to provide requested documents, information or instructions within a reasonable period, Robert Legal Services Ltd reserves the right to suspend or close the matter.

No refund shall be payable where a client fails to follow professional advice or instructions previously agreed and such failure prevents the matter from progressing or being completed.

If a matter cannot be completed, is delayed or is adversely affected because a client fails to provide documents, information or instructions, Robert Legal Services Ltd shall not be responsible for any resulting loss, refusal, missed deadline or adverse outcome.

Where a client changes their instructions after work has commenced, any fees already earned for work undertaken shall remain payable and non-refundable.

If a client decides not to proceed with a matter after work has commenced, any refund may be reduced to reflect work completed, administrative costs incurred and professional time spent on the matter.

Government fees, Home Office fees, court fees, tribunal fees, application fees, translation fees, interpreter fees, barrister fees, expert fees and any other third-party disbursements paid or incurred on behalf of the client are non-refundable once paid or committed.

Where a fixed fee has been agreed, Robert Legal Services Ltd reserves the right to retain a reasonable proportion of the fee to reflect work completed up to the date of cancellation, termination or closure of the matter.

Document Submission

Clients may submit documents through the website, by email, by WhatsApp or by other agreed methods.

Clients should only submit documents relevant to their enquiry or matter.

Confidentiality

Robert Legal Services Ltd will treat client information confidentially and will take reasonable steps to protect information provided by clients.

However, communications with Robert Legal Services Ltd do not attract legal professional privilege in the same way as communications with a solicitor or barrister.

Information may be disclosed where required by law, regulation, court order or where necessary to protect legal rights or comply with professional obligations.

Disclaimer of Legal Advice
